Principal Investigator: Dr. Ruchi Singh

Maximum Age Limit: 28 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt rules/orders for possessing experience in Govt./Autonomous Bodies.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 per month (consolidated)

Essential Qualifications: MSc in life sciences.

Desirable/Preference: Working experience in scientific research laboratory especially on molecular diagnostics. Hands-on experience in DNA isolation, PCR, Realtime PCR, primer designing and DNA sequencing.

Applications (hard copy) should reach to Director, ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi in addition to soft-copy by email to on or before 25.11.2019. The application should be marked on the envelope “Application for the post of Research Assistant: Development——diagnosis of Malaria”

The date and time of the interview will be displayed on the NIP website. NIP reserves the right to shortlist the candidates in case of receipt of a large number of applications. Shortlisted applicants will be intimated by email.

Please bring CV and all of the original certificates and a set of attested copies of certificates on the day of the interview. All applicants must bring Class 10th certificate as a proof of age & caste certificate to avail age relaxation. Those applicants who will not bring these documents will not be entertained. Those applicants who are working in Govt Organizations/ Public undertaking/autonomous body should bring a No Objection Certificate from his/her employe. It may be noted that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. It may be noted that there is no provision of hostel facility at the National Institute of Pathology.
