Number of Position: Project Fellows (2 Nos)

Project Title: Screening and molecular identification of alternate latex producing

plant resources from South India for sustainable supply of Natural Rubber (NR)

Duration: One Year

Fellowship: Rs 20,000 pm & HRA

Eligibility: M.Sc., in Biotechnology with specialization in Plant Biology /Plant

Biotechnology/Botany and experience in natural rubber plant research.

Desired Experience & Skills:

i) Candidates must have good knowledge in identification of natural rubber plants Collection, cultivation in addition to hands-on experience in Plant Tissue Culture and Molecular Biology techniques.

ii) Preference will be given to the candidates that have done project work in Plant Tissue culture

Selection will be carried out through application screening, Followed by an interview process.

Interested/eligible applicants can download the application form from the university site ( and filled in all respect Together with cover letter, self-attested copies Of mark sheets and certificates in support of educational qualifications, research interests have to be submitted at the time of Walk-in-Interview. The applicant should also bring all of the original Certificates/ testimonials in the time of Walk-in-Interview for verification.

No TA/DA is going to be compensated for attending the interview.
